A quick word on the design of this site and how it applies to what I consider best practices when developing:
Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, August 1993.
Florida State University, Department of Interior Design, Tallahassee, Florida.
Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, April 1996.
My work history is a fluid one, which I tend to think of in terms of epochs. My life has taken many different paths and as a result I have a varied work history. Whether that's considered a positive or a negative is a matter of personal choice, but I've certainly had fun wearing many different hats.

OnlineOrganizing.com
Washington DC
Lead Designer And Programmer for informational and ecommerce site. OnlineOrganizing.com was me and my wife's business until we sold it in 2009. The website was redesigned from scratch in 2004. It encompasses a full catalog of products to be ordered online (via a customized shopping cart), an automated system to generate referrals to organizers around the world (based on location), monthly newsletters via email campaigns, a network of bloggers, a behind-the-scenes vendor administration area for our vendors to manage their sales, referrals, and content, and much more. With the exception of a few legacy scripts from the previous version of the site, I did all programming for these processes (as of March 2009), as well as the overall graphic identity of the site.
